What is this upgrade / downgrade all about? |

Most hosting companies do not allow you to change your hosting plan once you've paid for it. Some allow you to upgrade but then you lose the balance hosting period that is still left on your current plan. However, when you host with AwareINDIA.net, you do not have to worry about this at all! Let's say you've taken a 50Mb Plan and pay for 1 year. After six months your business expands and you wish to upgrade to the 500Mb plan. All you have to do is login to your client area and upgrade it from there, you just need to pay the pro rated difference that is calculated in real time! Even your account permissions are changed to the new plan within minutes - there is no manual human intervention, everything is done dynamically! And if you wish to downgrade your plan (meaning you don't use the space allotted and wish to change over to a lower plan) you just login to your account and downgrade it to the one you want. The prorated difference will be automatically added into your account as credit which you can utilize for future purchases and payments. |

Can I upgrade / downgrade my plan from within the same category? |
| Ans. |
Yes you can, excluding the single domain website builder plans. So for example you purchased Plan D in the single domain linux hosting package, you can upgrade to Plan G or downgrade to Plan A. However, if you purchased Plan Presence (from the single domain website builder plans), you can upgrade to Plan Advanced but not vice versa. This is because the website builder software can only add permissions but not delete them. |

Can I upgrade / downgrade my plan outside my category? |

Yes you can, with two limitations:
- You can upgrade or downgrade only within the Main Categories. The 2 main categories that we are catering to are:
Category A. Only hosting (includes single domain linux, multi domain, and reseller plans).
Category B. Hosting with sitebuilder (includes single domain sitebuilder, multi domain pro hosting, and private label reseller hosting plans).
- Single domain plans can be upgraded to multi domain or reseller plans but not vice versa. Multi domain and reseller plans can be upgraded / downgraded with each other.

Can I upgrade / downgrade my payment cycle? |
| Ans. |
No, currently this provision is not available in our billing software. If you take a particular plan and choose the quarterly plan, you cannot change it to yearly or monthly. A workaround for this would be - upgrade / downgrade to another plan and then back to this plan - you'll be able to choose the payment cycle at one point! |
